VIPAR Heavy Duty Continues Tradition of Giving Back in 2020

Recognizing the challenges faced by many this year, VIPAR Heavy Duty continued to give back to the aftermarket industry and its local community throughout 2020.

With the impact of severe weather this fall, the VIPAR Heavy Duty network assisted those in need by contributing to the IMPACT Disaster Relief Fund, a fund dedicated to support employees of organizations within the VIPAR Heavy Duty Family of Companies and industry associates adversely affected by natural disasters. VIPAR Heavy Duty, its staff, and the network's distributors and suppliers donated to support those in need in the affected areas.

Despite not being able to gather in person for the annual VIPAR Heavy Duty IMPACT Memorial Golf Tournament, the company continued to collect funds for the Wyakin Foundation. The Wyakin Foundation, an organization with strong ties to the aftermarket industry, provides support to wounded and injured veterans who are transitioning from the battlefield to the civilian workforce. VIPAR Heavy Duty and conference attendees made donations during the virtual IMPACT Conference, along with some suppliers donating a portion of proceeds from promotions to the Wyakin Foundation.

"This year has been difficult for everyone, to say the least, but our network has continued the tradition of giving back to our industry and our local communities," said Chris Baer, president and CEO, VIPAR Heavy Duty. "We appreciate our staff, our stockholders and our entire network's efforts to donate time and resources to help ease the burden of so many."

VIPAR Heavy Duty also supported its community and first responders with donations to the Crystal Lake Food Pantry and Metropolitan Alliance of Police, two local entities with a strong need for support this year.
